The Brief:The Boca Raton Resort & Club was seeking for extranet E-Proposal system that will consist of 3 components:
Administrator -
User that can manage sales accounts, create global content blocks, upload global images.
Sales -
Users that can manage client's accounts, create custom content blocks, upload custom images and create custom proposals.
Clients -
Users that can access public version of website and get custom E-Proposal.
All forms in all sections should be validated; Template should be flexible to adopt design changes.
My Solution:After evaluating all project requirements I built 3 master templates for sections that was using same authentication system based on PHP and MySQL.
I designed database table's structure so they will be able to be easily updated with new functionality in future.
Than, I implemented sections functional part and implemented them into the templates with JavaScript validations to minimize "trash" content added to database and verify that required fields are not empty.
At the end I added proposal functionality that was outsourced to another developer because of tight deadline into Sales area of extranet and performed QA in all required by Client browsers.
